SAHIWAL (News Reporter) – Professor Dr. Javed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor of the University of Sahiwal, has officially appointed Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Ayub as the new Chairman of the Department of Computer Science. The appointment was made under the powers vested in the Vice Chancellor via the University Act 2015.
Dr. Muhammad Ayub has formally assumed charge of the position and will now oversee all academic and administrative affairs of the department.
Background of the Appointment
The chairmanship became vacant following a recent decision by the University Syndicate, which resulted in the removal of the former Chairman of Computer Science, Dr. Shafiq Hussain.
