Sahiwal Division Announces Trial Schedule for “Khelta Punjab Pink Games 2026”

SAHIWAL (January 16, 2026) – The Office of the Director of Public Relations, Sahiwal Division, has officially released the trial schedule for the upcoming Khelta Punjab Pink Games 2026. Organized by the Sports Department of Punjab, the main event is set to take place at Nishtar Park, Lahore, from February 10 to February 15, 2026.
The trials aim to select the most talented female athletes to represent the Sahiwal Division in this prestigious provincial competition. All events are categorized under the Under-21 age bracket.
Trial Schedule and Venues
The trials will be conducted under the direct supervision of Divisional Sports Officer Chaudhry Nisar-ul-Haq. Athletes are required to report at 9:00 AM at the designated venues:
January 19: Archery, Badminton, and Table Tennis trials will be held at the Sports Gymnasium, Sahiwal.
January 20: Basketball trials at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School (Jahaz Ground); Boxing trials at the Sports Gymnasium; and Chess trials at the Badminton Hall, Zafar Ali Stadium.
January 21: Hockey trials at the Hockey Ground, Sahiwal, and Karate trials at the Badminton Hall, Zafar Ali Stadium.
January 22: Taekwondo, Volleyball, and Weightlifting trials at Zafar Ali Stadium.
January 23: Rugby, Wushu, and Padel Tennis trials at Zafar Ali Stadium.
January 24: Athletics and Mas Wrestling trials at Zafar Ali Stadium.

Divisional Sports Officer Chaudhry Nisar-ul-Haq recently chaired a meeting with officials from various sports associations to discuss the implementation of the government’s vision for the “Khelta Punjab Pink Games.” During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of merit-based selection and briefed the stakeholders on the official guidelines issued by the Punjab government.
The “Pink Games” initiative is a significant step toward promoting women’s sports in the province, providing a platform for young female athletes to showcase their skills at a high level.
