Commissioner Inspects Rose Garden Sahiwal Restoration Work

SAHIWAL: Commissioner Sahiwal Division Dr Asif Tufail, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Captain (Retd) Samiullah Farooq, visited the Rose Garden to review the progress of ongoing restoration and rehabilitation work.

During the visit, the commissioner inspected the current condition of the garden and issued clear instructions to the concerned officers to accelerate the pace of work so that the restoration process could be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

Dr Asif Tufail emphasized that the Rose Garden should be fully restored and reopened for the public at the earliest to provide citizens with a quality recreational facility. He directed the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) to plant seasonal plants and colorful flowers to enhance the beauty of the garden and improve its overall ambiance.

He said the Rose Garden is an important public space of the city and should be developed into a healthy recreational spot for citizens. The commissioner further instructed that cleanliness, lighting, and other basic facilities be improved to ensure that families can spend their leisure time in a peaceful and pleasant environment.

Officials concerned assured the commissioner that the directions would be implemented and that efforts would be made to complete the restoration work promptly.
