Syed Imran Ahmad Shah Inaugurates Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani Research Institute

Sahiwal: Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, Pir Imran Ahmad Shah, inaugurated the Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani Research Institute on the occasion of the Uswa-e-Kamila Conference.

He said that this institution is an important step towards promoting service, ethics, and social responsibility among the younger generation. It will become a center for research and dialogue that will connect the new generation with their spiritual heritage and higher values.

The Federal Minister said that the life of the Holy Prophet is the best example of justice, compassion, and service to humanity. Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) carried forward the same message and turned his spiritual center into a refuge for orphans, travelers, and the needy.

He emphasized that true spirituality does not lie merely in remembrance and rituals, but in serving humanity. He further added that this very approach continues to guide us today at the state level.

The Ministry of Poverty Alleviation, under this spirit, is striving to ensure that no family goes hungry, no orphan is left helpless, women are given respect, and young people are provided employment.
