Chichawatni (Sahiwal News – City Press Club): A woman was seriously injured after her nephew allegedly attacked her with acid over a property dispute in Ahmad Nagar area of Chichawatni City Police jurisdiction.
According to details, the incident occurred when the nephew reportedly threw acid on his aunt, resulting in severe injuries. The victim has been identified as Yasmin Bibi, while the accused is said to be named Chand.
Upon receiving the information, Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene immediately and transferred the injured woman to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ), Chichawatni, where she is currently receiving medical treatment.
Police personnel arrived at the site in large numbers, cordoned off the area, and began collecting evidence. The suspect managed to flee the scene, and authorities have launched search operations to apprehend him. Investigations are ongoing.
