ARIFWALA (News Desk) – The official results for the Tehsil Bar Association Arifwala annual elections for the year 2026-2027 have been announced. The United Friends and Allied Group emerged victorious, securing key leadership positions in a closely contested poll.
Presidential Race: A Decisive Victory for Rana Abid Nazir
In the race for the Presidency, Rana Abid Nazir Advocate secured a significant win by obtaining 442 votes. He defeated his opponent, Syed Fakhar-ul-Islam Shah, who managed to receive 229 votes. Rana Abid Nazir won the seat with a substantial lead of 213 votes, reflecting strong confidence from the legal community.
General Secretary: Ahsan Salem Rath Triumphs
The seat for General Secretary was won by Ahsan Salem Rath Advocate, who polled 388 votes. His rival, Muhammad Irfan Joyia, received 287 votes. Rath successfully secured his position with a lead of 101 votes.

In his victory speech, the newly elected President, Rana Abid Nazir, thanked the lawyers for their trust and vowed to prioritize the welfare of the bar and the protection of the legal community’s rights. The Election Board Chairman, Peer Bakhtiar Fareed Chishti Advocate, congratulated the winners and praised the peaceful conduct of the democratic process.
