The incident occurred yesterday around 9:00 AM. The accountant and driver of ‘Al-Haramain Associates’ (a Pepsi-Cola distributor) were en route to the Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) High Street branch in a pickup van to deposit a substantial sum of 32 lakh rupees.
As they approached the Government Girls School near Jahaz Ground, three masked, armed men on a motorcycle intercepted the vehicle. At gunpoint, the robbers snatched the cash and fled the scene.
