Captain (R) Samiullah Farooq Assumes Charge as Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal

Sahiwal News – Captain (R) Samiullah Farooq has officially taken charge of his position as Deputy Commissioner and has begun performing his duties.

He belongs to the 40th Common of the Pakistan Administrative Service and possesses extensive administrative experience. Previously, he has successfully served as Deputy Commissioner in various districts, including Muzaffargarh, Jhelum, Hunza, and Gilgit-Baltistan, fulfilling his professional responsibilities with distinction.

After assuming charge as Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal, Captain (R) Samiullah Farooq stated that he will prioritize good governance, transparency, and public facilitation in the district. He expressed his commitment to promptly addressing citizens’ issues through effective service delivery and timely relief.

He further added that by maintaining close coordination with all departments, a comprehensive strategy will be adopted to improve all sectors, with public welfare and the delivery of justice being at the core of his priorities.

According to the DC Office spokesperson, the arrival of the new Deputy Commissioner is expected to bring further improvement in administrative affairs and transparency in the service delivery system.
