Chichawatni (News Desk): The court of the Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Sahiwal has delivered a landmark verdict in the high-profile Chichawatni double murder case, sentencing the convicts to death on two counts each after the allegations were proven.
Case Background
The incident dates back to 2022, when a case (FIR No. 285-22) was registered at the Chichawatni City Police Station. According to the prosecution, the convicts—identified as Abdul Wahid, Shahzeb, and Haider Ramay—opened fire and killed Abdul Wahab and Usman Jatt.
Judicial Proceedings and Verdict
Following a lengthy trial, the Honorable ASJ Aftab Ahmad Rai announced the verdict in light of the arguments presented by both sides and the forensic evidence provided by the prosecution.
