DPO Okara Takes Notice of Child Torture Case; Stepmother and Uncle Arrested

OKARA (Police Spokesperson): In a prompt action against domestic violence, the Okara Police have arrested two individuals for allegedly torturing a minor boy. The District Police Officer (DPO) Okara, Rashid Hidayat, took strict notice of the incident after reports of the abuse surfaced.
Details of the Arrests
The arrested suspects have been identified as Ramzana Bibi and Imran. According to the police spokesperson, Ramzana Bibi is the victim’s stepmother, while Imran is the child’s step-maternal uncle.
The Incident
The incident took place in Rehman Colony, within the jurisdiction of the B-Division Police Station. It is alleged that the stepmother and uncle subjected the young child to severe physical violence based on a mere suspicion of theft.
Statement from DPO Okara
DPO Rashid Hidayat condemned the act, stating that violence against children is an intolerable crime.
“Both suspects have been taken into custody, and legal proceedings have commenced. We will ensure that the perpetrators receive exemplary punishment in accordance with the law,” the DPO remarked.
