Sahiwal: Inter-Tehsil Kabaddi Tournament Held Under CM’s ‘Youth Year’ Vision

SAHIWAL – In alignment with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s declaration of 2026 as the “Youth Year,” sports activities are gaining significant momentum across the province. To celebrate this vision, the District Sports Department Sahiwal organized a grand Inter-Tehsil Kabaddi Tournament, where local athletes showcased exceptional skill in the traditional sport.

Tournament Highlights

the tournament featured a high-stakes face-off between the two primary tehsils of the Sahiwal district: Tehsil Sahiwal and Tehsil Chichawatni.

The final match proved to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams displaying immense physical prowess and strategy. After a tough competition that kept spectators on the edge of their seats, Tehsil Sahiwal emerged victorious, while Tehsil Chichawatni secured the runner-up position.

Prize Distribution Ceremony

A prestigious closing ceremony was held following the final whistle. Noman Qaiser, SDEO Para Force, graced the event as the Chief Guest. He distributed trophies among the captains and players of both teams, praising their dedication to the sport.
