CHICHAWATNI: In a significant move toward safeguarding local government employees’ rights and strengthening the union structure, a formal oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected officials of the Municipal Employees Union was held here.
Event Details
Following transparent union elections held in December 2025, the successful panel officially assumed office today, April 6, 2026, during a prestigious ceremony at the TMA Hall, Chichawatni.
The event was graced by Chief Officer Municipal Committee Chichawatni, Zahid Farid Tarar, and Sub-Engineer Malik Kashif as guests of honor. A large number of municipal employees attended the gathering, welcoming their new representatives with high spirits and applause.
