Sahiwal Police have put in place strict security measures to ensure the safety of polio workers and the public during the ongoing anti-polio campaign across the district.
More than 450 police officers and personnel have been deployed to provide security alongside polio vaccination teams. The District Police Officer (DPO) Sahiwal stated that the anti-polio campaign is a national responsibility and that protecting all polio teams is the police’s top priority.
Police officers and personnel have been instructed to remain in constant coordination with the teams assigned to their respective areas and to respond immediately in case of any untoward incident. The DPO further emphasized that the strong police presence will provide complete security to polio workers, enabling them to carry out their duties without fear.
