Rai Iqbal Elected President, Rao Imran Wajid Triumphs as General Secretary in Renala Khurd Bar Elections

RENALA KHURD (Staff Reporter) – The results for the annual elections of the Tehsil Bar Association Renala Khurd for the year 2026-2027 have been officially announced. Following a high-stakes polling process, Rai Iqbal and Rao Imran Wajid emerged as the new leaders of the legal community.

Presidential Contest: A Close Battle

The race for the Presidency was a neck-and-neck competition. Rai Iqbal was elected President after securing 222 votes. He defeated his opponent, Rizwan Farooq Bhatti, who received 212 votes. The victory was decided by a narrow margin of 10 votes, with 6 votes declared rejected during the final count.

General Secretary: Rao Imran Wajid Secures Clear Mandate

In the contest for General Secretary, Rao Imran Wajid achieved a resounding victory, polling 236 votes. His opponent, Rana Tahir, managed to secure 197 votes. Wajid’s decisive lead established a strong mandate for his upcoming term. A total of 7 votes were rejected in this category.
