Sahiwal (Staff Reporter) – Under the “Dhee Rani Program” initiated by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, a grand ceremony was held in Sahiwal where 134 couples tied the knot. Among the newlywed couples were two from the Christian community and one special (disabled) couple. The event was graced by Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Suhail Shaukat Butt, as the chief guest, while Member of Punjab Assembly Muhammad Arshad Malik, Director Development Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Niaz Ahmed Mughal, Director Social Welfare Asma Noreen, and Deputy Director Muhammad Abbas Chauhan were also present.
