Ceremony held under “Dhee Rani Program” in Sahiwal

Sahiwal (Staff Reporter) – Under the “Dhee Rani Program” initiated by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, a grand ceremony was held in Sahiwal where 134 couples tied the knot. Among the newlywed couples were two from the Christian community and one special (disabled) couple. The event was graced by Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Suhail Shaukat Butt, as the chief guest, while Member of Punjab Assembly Muhammad Arshad Malik, Director Development Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Niaz Ahmed Mughal, Director Social Welfare Asma Noreen, and Deputy Director Muhammad Abbas Chauhan were also present. Each newlywed couple was presented with a gift of PKR 200,000 from Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz as a token of support and goodwill. SAHIWAL (Directorate of Public Relations) – In a move to ensure high standards of academic delivery and infrastructure, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Niaz Ahmad Mughal conducted surprise visits to key educational institutions in the district, including Government High School 89/6-R and Government Higher Secondary School Fareed Town. The visit was aimed at a comprehensive assessment of the quality of education, teacher performance, and the availability of modern facilities for students. Strict Monitoring of Academic Standards During his inspection, ADC Niaz Ahmad Mughal personally verified the attendance registers of the teaching staff and spent time in classrooms observing live teaching methodologies.
