SAHIWAL – A festive atmosphere turned into a nightmare in Model Town , Sahiwal, after a domestic helper and her accomplices allegedly looted cash and jewelry worth over PKR 17.2 million from the house of a local bus driver. The Incident The victim, Ali Raza , a driver for the Green Bus service, was preparing for a double wedding in the family. His brother, who had recently returned from Dubai, and his sister were set to be married in a "Watta Satta" (exchange) arrangement. Taking advantage of the busy wedding preparations, the family’s domestic helper, Sumaira , brought her husband, Abdul Wahid (alias Waqas Pappu) , and five other women along with an unidentified man to the house, claiming they would assist with the wedding chores.
