Punjab Govt to establish two new rescue stations in Sahiwal District

Under the Punjab government's comprehensive plan to expand rescue services to towns, it has been decided to establish two new rescue stations in Sahiwal District. These stations will be constructed in Yousafwala and Noor Shah, with a budget allocation of 66 million rupees each in the new fiscal year 2025–26. This was stated by Deputy Director Development Muhammad Akram Wattoo. It is worth mentioning that rescue stations are already operational in Sahiwal, Chichawatni, Harappa, and Kameer. They are providing immediate rescue services to the residents of these areas. With the establishment of these two new stations, Emergency Services 1122 will be easily accessible across all areas of Sahiwal District.
